It’s Almost Here: The 2017 Honda Odyssey in Kenosha!

December 9th, 2016 by

With 2017 right around the corner, new model year cars keep getting better. The 2017 Honda Odyssey is no exception to this. While the release date remains a mystery, we hope it is sooner rather than later! We’re sharing top potential features to get you excited about the 2017 Honda Odyssey in Kenosha at Honda of Kenosha!

What’s Under the 2017 Honda Odyssey’s Hood?

Honda remains in secret about the 2017 Honda Odyssey with a heavily camouflaged test model driving around. They are also keeping their lips sealed regarding what lays under the hood. We expect the 2017 Honda Odyssey to come with the same engine as the new Honda Pilot. A conservative 3.5-liter V-6 with 290 horsepower and 270 lbs.-ft. torque is our best bet.

However, a 9-speed continuously variable transmission could make its first appearance in the 2017 Honda Odyssey. This allows for Honda to also incorporate a Push Button Start feature. Rumors of a 4WD or hybrid model option should remain a rumor. We expect the 2017 Odyssey to remain a front wheel drive.

Additional 2017 Honda Odyssey Features

The last redesigned Honda Odyssey wowed us all with the HondaVAC, a built in vacuum, that cleans up any mess left behind after a short or long ride. The Odyssey is due for a new redesign, but this model might just get a few updates like added connectivity and Honda’s Honda Sensing Safety Suite.

When Can You Buy the 2017 Honda Odyssey?

With 2017 quickly approaching, we expect the 2017 Honda Odyssey to release around midyear. We hope that date is sooner, but with no word from Honda it seems unlikely. Stay tuned for more information from Honda of Kenosha regarding the 2017 Honda Odyssey in Kenosha. We hope this minivan comes packed with added features to rival competition like the Kia Sedona and Toyota Sienna.
