An Upgrade is Underway – Comparing the 2020 Honda Accord in Kenosha

At Honda of Kenosha, we have a slew of special offers to make your experience with us that much sweeter, many of which involve the 2020 Honda Accord in Kenosha. But there are many more reasons to choose this Honda over other competitors out there like the 2020 Nissan Altima. Just keep reading to see how these two sedans stack up.

While it’s nice to know which sedan is faster, it’s also equally important to understand the braking and handling capabilities. When put to the test by Car and Driver, and Motor Trend, the Accord was found to stop much shorter than the Altima. When going from 70 to 0, the Accord can stop at 162 feet, while the Altima takes up 172 feet. Lower it to 60 miles per hour, and the Altima still needs ten more feet (109ft vs. 119ft), which can have a huge impact on impact and avoiding damages.

The Accord also hosts a driver-adjustable suspension system, which provides the option of two different ride settings, extra-supple, and sport, so you’ll never have to compromise comfort. This sedan’s drift compensation steering also automatically compensates for road conditions to keep you on the straight and narrow when it gets a little bumpy or slick. The Altima doesn’t offer adjustable shock absorbers or drift compensation steering to assist with handling.

Other than having convenient features to assist with safety and handling, the Accord also has a few hands-on tricks to help with the little things. When driving around town, you can keep your devices charged without getting tangled in wires thanks to the wireless phone charging system (Qi) in the center console on the Touring model. Once you’re ready to park, you can handle even the tightest parallel parking situations because once you put the Touring in reverse, the rearview mirrors tilt to provide a better view of the curb. And shifting out of reverse puts them back into their original positions. Top it all off by activating the parking brake with a touch of a button instead of a manual lever, which the Altima has.
